2013년 봄학기 FIT, CCA지원 방법 변경사항

아트유학 입니다.
2013년 봄학기 준비와 가을 학기 준비로 많이 바쁜 시간을 보내고 게신 이 시점에 작년 지원자들과 좀 달라진 진행사하잉 있어 공지로 안내 드립니다.
1. Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) 성적표 발송 방법
원래 한국 학생들은 Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT)로 성적을 보낼 때 학교에서 직접 보내는 시스템으로 진행하였습니다. 물론 학교에서 직접 보내는 학생들 보다는 학교에서 발급 받아 학생이 대신 발송하는 경우가 많았을 겁니다. 어찌됐든 직접 Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT)로 발송하는 시스템이었습니다.
그런데 2013년 봄학기 부터 모든 국제학생들의 성적표 발송 방법이 변경되었습니다.
WES라는 성적평가기관(www.wes.org)을 통해 성적변환이 진행되어야 하며 WES에서 FIT(Fashion Institute of Technology)로 학생 성적을 보내는 시스템입니다.
FIT(Fashion Institute of Technology) 로 따로 성적을 보내실 필요는 없습니다. WES에서 성적평가를 신청하고 성적변환이 진행되는 데 10일 정도 소요되니 미리미리 FIT(Fashion Institute of Technology)의 지원서 마감일을 고려해서 진행하시기 바랍니다.

Applicants who attended secondary or post-secondary school(s) outside the U.S. must have their credentials from those schools evaluated by World Education Services (WES)*. To ensure that your evaluation includes all of the information that FIT requires, please note:
• FIT’s requirements may differ from WES’s country-specific requirements.
• FIT requires secondary school documents from all applicants, including transfer applicants who have completed post-secondary study.
• All schools listed on FIT’s Academic History and Essay form must all be listed on WES’s application as well.
For FIT’s instructions and requirements go to www.wes.org/fit. For questions or problems regarding document submission, please email WES at FIT@wes.org.
*All applicants educated outside the U.S. are required to have their credentials evaluated by WES.
ATTENTION: WES evaluations constitute non-binding advisory opinions only. Where FIT’s assessment of any credential(s) differs from that of WES, FIT makes all final determinations regarding course/grade/credit/GPA equivalencies, degree equivalencies, and the award of any transfer credit for coursework completed (as provided in FIT’s transfer credit evaluation).
2. CCA (California College of the Arts) 봄학기 지원서 마감일 연기
CCA (California College of the Arts)의 지원서 마감일은 10월 1일이었습니다. 하지만 여전히 CCA (California College of the Arts) 온라인 지원서는 2012년 봄, 가을 학기 지원만 되도록 되어있습니다.
CCA (California College of the Arts) 사이트에 올라온 학교 공지를 통해 확인된 바에 의하면 현재CCA (California College of the Arts)의 온라인 지원서에 약간의 오류가 있는 것 같습니다. 그걸 해결하기 전까지는 Fall 2012를 선택해서 지원하시면 됩니다. 또한 CCA (California College of the Arts)봄 학기 지원서 마감일이 10월 1일에서 10월 31일로 변경되었습니다. 이점 참고 하시길 바랍니다.
October 31 is the priority deadline for spring 2013 applications.
Note: Currently, our online application omits "spring 2013" as a selectable term option. While we are working to resolve this technical glitch, please select "fall 2012" as an alternative selection, complete the application, and hit "Submit."
(We will internally list your application as a spring 2013 file and have the submission considered on time.)
